Genius Spray Foam Insulation is a ready-to-use, self-expanding polyurethane spray foam.

• Suitable for insulating all types of surfaces to improve thermal insulation and reduce the risk of heat loss through thermal bridges.
• The supplied spray nozzle attachment can be rotated for use in both horizontal and vertical applications, ideal for isolating uneven and hard to reach surfaces.

Features :

• Excellent initial adhesion to the surface
• Good adhesion to all surfaces (except PE, PP and PTFE).
• A 700 ml can of foam covers up to 1 m² of insulation (about 2 cm of layer after hardening)
• Suitable for vertical and horizontal applications
• Can be applied at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C
• Excellent thermal insulation, thermal conductivity of 0.036 W/mK
• Reduces the risk of thermal bridges

Applications:

• Covering of all types of surfaces to improve thermal insulation.

Manual :

1. Before using the product, protect adjacent areas to avoid splashing.
   Good ventilation should be provided for indoor use.
2. Wear protective goggles and gloves.
3. Shake the aerosol for at least 20 seconds.
4. Open the lid and bend the straight pipe.
   The application nozzle is already present on the tip of the Soudamax adapter.
5. The surface must be free of grease and dust.
6. Dampen surfaces with a water sprayer before application.
7. For unconventional substrates, a preliminary adhesion test is recommended.
8. Choose nozzle orientation for vertical or horizontal application.
9. Pull the trigger on the Genius adapter fully for optimal foam flow.
10. Apply the foam at a distance of 30-40 cm from the surface.
    The distance of application will determine the width of the foam spray.
    The foam will expand to twice the thickness of what is sprayed.
11. Do not apply more than three coats of approximately 1 cm at a time, and do not exceed a thickness of 2.5 cm at a time.
12. If more coats are needed, wait approx. 30 minutes to apply the next layer.
13. Dampen after each coat.
14. For storage: remove the nozzle from the Soudamax adapter and clean the nozzle, detach the clasp and screw the clasp onto the Soudamax adapter.
15. Shake the can again after periods of non-use.
    Fresh foam can be removed with Soudal Gun & Foamcleaner or acetone.
16. Before using the Gun & Foamcleaner, check the compatibility with the medium.
17. In particular, certain plastics, certain layers of lacquer or paint can be altered by the cleaner.
18. Cured foam can only be removed mechanically or with Soudal PU Remover.
