Sika injection-307 - Polyacrylic injection resin - Sika

Sika Injection-307 is a polyacrylic, elastic , 3-component, very low viscosity injection resin , with an adjustable reaction time for permanent sealing.

Features

• Provides a passivating environment for coated concrete steels

• Capable of absorbing (swelling) and releasing (removing) moisture
• Very low viscosity, comparable to water
• Polymerized Sika Injection-307 is insoluble in water and hydrocarbons, and is resistant to alkalis

Application areas

• Injection of cracks and joints
• Injection of SikaFuko tubes to seal construction joints
• Seal cracks and weeping voids
• Seal all kinds of seeping building parts in wet or water saturated soil conditions
• Seal leaks that may be subject to minimal movement
• Seal drainage pipe joints, which are, or will be, covered with damp or water-saturated soil
• Injection repair of damaged waterproofing membranes (single or double layer system)

Application

Hardener solution

1. Pour 10 liters of water into a clean container.
2. Dissolve the contents of 2 sachets (total 800 g) of Component B (hardener) in this water.
3. Mix this hardener solution at low speed until Component B (hardener) is completely dissolved.

Accelerator solution

1. Determine the amount of accelerator (A1) required.
2. Dilute this quantity of accelerator (A1) with water to obtain a total of 1 liter of “accelerator solution”.

Accelerator solution with addition of resin

1. Pour the liter “accelerator solution” into the container of 1 x 9.6 kg of resin and shake/mix well (= resin solution)

Mix the resin solution with the hardener solution

Depending on the type of injection pump used, activate the injection resin by proceeding in one of the following ways:

1. Single-component pump: pour one part (volume) of “resin solution” and one part (volume) “hardener solution” into a clean container.
   Mix well using an electric stirrer and fill the pump reservoir.
2. Two-component pump: pour the “resin solution” into tank A of the pump.
   Pour the “hardener solution” into tank B of the pump.
   Set the pump to a mixing ratio of 1:1 by volume and begin work.

The Sika Injection-307 can be used with single-component or two-component injection pumps.
