Star Mask is a respirator with interchangeable pre-filters and gas filters .
The Star Mask protects against mists of paint , varnish , enamel , pesticides , organic vapors and dust and is approved according to standards CE 0194/ EN 140:198; EN 143:2004 and A1:2008.
The replaceable filter system ensures maximum protection, even during prolonged use.

Applications:

• The face pieces of the carsystem Star series of masks meet the requirements of the EN140 approved standard.
• The vapor/gas filter cartridges and the particle cartridges meet the requirements of the respective approved standard EN14387:2004+A1:2008.
• Filter pads only meet the requirements of the approved standard EN14387:2004+A1:2008 when used in combination with steam/gas cartridges.
• 141.224 Filter cartridge protection class A2 Organic vapours, with a boiling point above 65°C, up to 50X OEL or 1000 ppm, whichever is lower.
• 141.154 Pre-filter protection class P2SL For use as in the categories above and against dust and liquid based aerosols up to 10X OEL.

Treatment :

1. Choose the most suitable facepiece size.
2. Place the respirator over the mouth and nose (ensure that the top of the nosepiece is aligned with the bridge of the nose, the bottom of the facepiece goes under the chin, and the seal around the facepiece is in contact with the skin of the face)
3. Then pull the head harness over the top of the head.
   Fasten the lower straps behind the neck.
4. Tighten the top strap at the ends for a secure and comfortable fit.
5. Tighten the lower straps by pulling the ends or loosen them by pushing the buckle outwards.
6. Check the fit of your respirator each time you enter a contaminated area.

Security :

• This respirator does not supply oxygen.
• Do not use in an atmosphere containing less than 19.5% oxygen (or as determined by regulatory authorities) or an atmosphere which is or may become immediately dangerous to life or health.
• Do not use in an oxygen enriched atmosphere.
