SikaForce-302 is based on Purform , an industry-leading polyurethane containing less than 0.1% diisocyanate monomer for better health protection and improved workplace safety.

SikaForce-302 (Purform) is specially designed for repairing plastic parts in automotive workshops.
It offers good adhesion to different types of plastic and can be coated with almost any type of paint.

Areas of application

SikaForce-302 (Purform) is used in automotive workshops for plastic repair work such as bumper damage, bonding plastic parts and supports, recreating plastic clips or filling unused sensor openings and small holes.

This product is only suitable for experienced professional users.
Tests with substrates and under real-world conditions must be carried out to ensure adhesion and compatibility of materials.

Application

1. SikaForce-302 (Purform) must be implemented between 15 °C and 30 °C (product temperature, ambient temperature and substrate temperature).
2. Extrude the adhesive without the mixer to even out the levels.
3. Secure the static mixer, dispense one-third of the mixer's length and remove it before starting to apply the adhesive to the bonding surfaces.
4. Apply SikaForce-302 (Purform) with suitable piston guns.
   To obtain a proper mixture, it is necessary to use static mixers.
5. After removal, leave the mixer on the cartridge until the adhesive is reused.
   The remaining adhesive can be stored for several weeks if stored correctly.
6. To reuse SikaForce-302 (Purform), remove the static mixer and dispose of it properly.
7. Clean the cartridge outlet thoroughly.
8. Next, connect a new mixer and begin depositing as described above.

1. On which plastics can Sikaforce®-302 be used?
   It adheres to most plastics, ABS, PC, PVC, fiberglass, ASA, etc. On polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), a Sika® adhesion primer may be required.
2. Can it be used to repair a bumper?
   Yes, that's one of its main uses. It can be used to repair cracks as well as to rebuild missing material.
3. What is the final strength of the adhesive?
   It is high-strength, the adhesive withstands vibrations, mechanical stresses, impacts and can be used in demanding environments (automotive, industry).
4. Is it sandable and paintable?
   Yes, once hardened, it sands easily and can receive most paints and primers.
5. How long should you wait before handling the repaired part?
   Generally, 10 to 15 minutes is sufficient for light handling, depending on the ambient temperature.
6. Can it be used outdoors?
   Yes, after complete hardening, the adhesive is resistant to moisture, temperature variations and atmospheric agents.
7. Do you need a special gun?
   Yes, a two-component gun compatible with Sika cartridges is required.
8. What is the shelf life of the product once opened?
   The cartridge can be stored for several months if properly resealed. Remember to change the nozzle before each use.
