Sika FastFix-131 is a moisture-hardening grouting material , specially designed for joints with a width of 2 to 12 mm.
It is suitable for all types of paving stones , slabs and clinkers.

Application areas

Sika FastFix-131 is a sand-based grouting material intended for all types of paving stones:

• Garage aisles.
• Pedestrian paths.
• Garden paths, landscaping.
• Places.
• Patios.
• Terraces.

Sika FastFix-131 is intended for grouting paving subject to medium traffic: pedestrians, light vehicles.
The product was not designed to withstand heavy traffic.

Application

1. We recommend carrying out a few tests on an inconspicuous area or on offcuts from the paving stones before application.
2. Use the product in small, manageable quantities and avoid spreading it all at once over too large an area.
3. Sweep the product into the joints using a broom, ensuring that each joint is completely filled.
   If there is a risk of rain before the product hardens, protect the surface to ensure a smooth result.
4. Sweep up any excess product immediately as this will be more difficult after the product has hardened.
5. Compact the joints using a vibrating plate compactor or simply using a wooden board and a hammer.
6. Spray water on the joints until saturation using a garden hose or a watering can fitted with its head.
7. Above all, do not use water under pressure.
8. Make sure the joints are completely saturated with water.
9. Rinse off any excess product remaining on the surface.
10. It is allowed to drive on the surface immediately after finishing/activating it, but it is better to wait until the surface has completely dried.
11. Curing is usually achieved after 1-2 days, but the time to complete curing depends on temperature.
    Curing will be slower at lower temperatures. The product will harden completely after approximately 28 days.

Consumption

Depends on the dimensions of the slabs or paving stones, the dimensions of the joints and the type of support.
