CA1400 sealing resin - Chemical sealant - Soudal

The sealing resin has been specially developed for fixing heavy loads up to 1400 kg.

Features :

• Based on vinyl ester resins
• Virtually odorless because styrene-free
• Can even be used on wet substrates (wet drill holes)
• Complete hardening in 45 min. (at 20°C)

Applications:

• Used for stress-free anchoring of threaded rods, rebars, reinforcing bars in solid and hollow supports, even near edges.
• Also for the installation of stair railings, fences, posts, blinds, shutters, water heaters, TV screens, satellite dishes, shelves, radiators, and sanitary applications (sink , suspended toilet, etc.).
• Can also be used as a repair mortar on concrete, due to its gray color (after mixing).

Manual :

1. Drill the hole according to specifications (depth, diameter)
2. Clean the hole with a bottle brush and then blow.
3. Screw the mixing cannula onto the cartridge.
4. Extrude the first 10 cm on a cardboard, until the mixture is homogeneous (homogeneous dark gray color).
5. Solid brick: fill the borehole by slowly withdrawing the static mixer.
6. Hollow brick: introduce a sieve and fill the hole by slowly withdrawing the static mixer, so that the product is pressed through the sieve.
7. Introduce the anchor by a left-right rotational movement
8. Check if the borehole is well filled.
9. Respect the open time and the hardening time.
10. Do not move the anchor any further during the hardening time.

Conditioning :

• 280ml cartridge
• 165ml cartridge
