Universal polish liquid - Akemi

High-tech suspension composed of polishing materials and inorganic auxiliaries that allows the use of a single product for several polishing steps.

  • Fluid consistency
  • Creamy
  • Homogeneous

Application domain :

  • Used to increase the gloss level of hard and soft stone surfaces, pre-ground and polished.
  • Available in two variants: "Black" for dark stone and "White" for light stone.
  • This product is used for the subsequent treatment or restoration of hard and soft stone workpieces such as window sills, corners and edges, kitchen work surfaces, sinks, draining boards, tombstones, small surfaces and reliefs.
  • In addition, small acid etching stains on marble and limestone can be removed in this way.

Use :

  1. Shake well before use.
  2. Apply AKEMI Liqui Polish Universal in the desired amount to the slightly damp surface.
  3. Treat the surface to be treated using a felt or a polishing pad.
Repeat the process as necessary until the desired level of gloss is achieved.
If necessary, water can be added to cool the surface of the stone or the polishing pad.
For the application, it is absolutely necessary to use a polishing felt with a density of at least 0.56 to 0.64 g/cm³.
We recommend AKEMI Liqui Polish Pad.
  4. Depending on the type of rock, surfaces should be roughened and free of scratches.
Dense limestone, onyx and marble (coarse, fine crystalline) should always be ground down to a grit of 400.
Then polish with AKEMI Liqui Polish Universal.
For hard stones, the behavior differs, it is not possible to avoid as much sanding as for soft rocks.
Plutonic rocks such as granite, syenite, quartz syenite, orthogneiss, anorthosite, aplite, peridotite, larvikite, granodiorite, diorite, gabbro and tonalite should be conventionally ground down to a grit of 1500.
Then, the treatment is carried out until polishing with AKEMI Liqui Polish Universal.
Dense magmatic rocks, like rhyolite, porphyritic granite, dacite and basic eruptive rocks like andesite, diabase, picrite, lamprophyres, dolerite and other metamorphic rocks like granulite and quartzites should be conventionally sanded to a grit of 3000, then polished with Liqui Polish Universal from AKEMI.
  5. Grinding residues can be removed from the surface of the stone using AKEMI stone cleaner.
