Sikalastic Primer-FPO is a clear, yellowish, quick-drying, solvent- based primer.
It is specially designed to provide adhesion between Sikalastic membrane applied in liquid state and Sarnafil T membranes.

Application areas

Adhesion primer for Sikalastic membranes applied in liquid state over Sarnafil T membranes.
Sikalastic Primer-FPO can be applied when Sikalastic-621 TC is used for repairs or detailing.

Application

1. All surfaces to be treated should be cleaned with Sarnafil T Clean prior to application of Sikalastic Primer-FPO.
2. During the application of Sikalastic Primer-FPO, wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and a suitable mask in unventilated rooms.
3. Shake the bottle of Sikalastic Primer-FPO well until you hear the ball.
4. Continue shaking for one minute.
5. Apply a thin but even coat of Sikalastic Primer-FPO using a solvent resistant roller or brush.
6. Sikalastic Primer-FPO should be applied in a single coat.
7. Make sure during this simple application that the quantity deposited is sufficient and that it allows uniform coverage.
8. Do not apply the primer at temperatures below 10°C or above 30°C.
9. Leave the primer to dry for at least 30 minutes at a temperature of 23°C and a relative air humidity of 50%.
10. The ambient temperature and the porosity of the support can influence the drying time.
11. The primer coat must be 'dust free' before applying Sikalastic products.
12. For best results, apply Sikalastic within two hours of primer application.
13. Close the package tightly immediately after application
