Sikatack panel Tape SW 398 - Double-sided adhesive - Sika

Double-sided self-adhesive mounting tape for instant fixing of facade panels until complete curing of the SikaTack-Panel glue.

Application areas

• To calibrate the minimum thickness of 3 mm of the glue layer.
• The tape is applied along the entire length of the supporting structure.

Application

1. Apply SikaTack-Panel mounting tape along the entire length of the vertical profiles and parallel to the edges, do not remove the protective film yet.
2. Apply the SikaTack-Panel glue in a triangular bead using the triangular tip included in the supply (width 8 mm, height 10 mm) at least 5 mm away from the mounting tape and the side edge of the profile.
3. Remove the protective film from the SikaTack-Panel mounting tape.
4. Lay the facade panel to be glued at the desired location on the beads of glue without it already touching the mounting tape.
5. To facilitate assembly, the panels can be placed on slats or fitted angles.
6. Position the panel exactly and tighten until it touches the mounting tape.
