SP050 - Multipurpose hybrid adhesive - Illbruck

SP050 is a polymer hybrid technology adhesive-sealant, with neutral cross-linking, single-component and high modulus of elasticity that allows various and varied applications, and adheres to non-dripping wet supports.

Its cross-linking is carried out by moisture recovery.

Advantage: 

• Permanent elasticity
• Odorless, solvent-free and 0% isocyanate
• Thixotropic (does not leak) and quick-setting product
• Can be painted after cross-linking
• Excellent grip without primer on most materials, even wet.

Preparation: 

• In the case of application with an air gun, the maximum pressure is 3 bar.
• All supports must be strong, dusted, degreased, and free of non-stick agents.

Implementation: 

• Cord application using a manual or pneumatic gun.
• Put the supports to be assembled in contact before the skin formation time.
• The optimal mechanical strengths are obtained after complete cross-linking of the glue.
• For large glue parts, it is preferable to apply multiple cords with a diameter of up to 10 mm in order to promote air circulation.
• On some supports such as PMMA, rigid PVC, lacquers, etc., it is advisable to check the good adhesion beforehand; if necessary, it may be useful to apply the AT160 primary beforehand.

Hygiene and safety precautions

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Cleaning: 

• On still fresh product, use the biodegradable AA409 cleaner. 
• For cross-linked glue, only the use of mechanical means (abrasion, cutter ...) allows cleaning.

Conditioning: 

• Cartridge of 310 ml.
• Color: gray, white, black.
