Acryrub FR PS - Acrylic putty - Soudal

Acryrub FR PS flame retardant acrylic expands in a fire situation, at temperatures above +180°C, preventing flames and smoke gases from moving between compartments.

Features :

• Very good adhesion to most common building materials
• Acts as sound insulation (joint ≥ 12 mm: Rw = 62 dB)
• The product shows good sound insulation characteristics for fireproof passages (uniform sound insulation of 35dB-62dB).
• Versatile flame retardant sealant.
• Very easy application, quick drying (no longer sticky after 60 min)
• Keeps its white color after drying and is waterproof.
• Can be painted.
• Color code: RAL 9002 Max. allowed < 12%

Applications:

• Acryrub FR PS achieves an EI240 classification in penetration seals.
• Acryrub FR PS retains its color and does not shrink during drying.
• Acryrub FR PS adheres very well to most common building materials such as metals, concrete, bricks, stone, blocks and wood.
• Can be painted.

Manual :

1. Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming if necessary.
2. Cut the end cap to the required size and apply sealant to achieve a smoke tight seal.
3. Immediately remove any excess residue (filming after a few minutes).
4. Allow for the slight shrinkage of the curing sealant when finishing the joint.
