Easy-shingle stick - Bitumen shingle attachment material - Aquaplan

A bituminous cold glue , flexible, waterproof and weatherproof , which improves the adhesion of shingles on roofs exposed to the wind .

Application :

1. Always work on a sound, level, dry nailable substrate that is properly attached to the sub-construction.
2. One Easy-Shingle pack is approx. 2 m² of finished roof area.
3. The visible part of the Easy-Shingle is approx. 14.3cm.
   This is why we place a horizontal chalk line from bottom to top every 14.3 cm.
4. We start with the "foot shingle", that is to say the strip that we keep when all the legs are cut out.
5. Apply a layer of glue with Easy-Colle Shingle or Repair mastic where these “toe shingles” will be placed.
   Glue the "toe shingle" here and nail it with 4 roofing nails.
   Apply a little glue to each nail.
   Leave this first row of toe shingles protruding 6 to 10 cm from the edge of the roof.
6. Always overlap subsequent rows with a half leg.
7. Glue the shingles that reach the edges of the roof with Easy-Glue Bardeau, Easy-Shingle Stick or Repair putty for optimal watertightness.
8. For the ridge pieces, you cut out the legs to separate them from each other to form 3 equal pieces.
   One package of 3-leg rectangular Standard Shingles is sufficient for approx. 7.7 running meters of finished ridge length.
9. Always work facing the prevailing wind.
