Symosol - Synthetic resin-based mortar - Zep Industries

Mortar based on synthetic resins does not contain solvents or water and does not shrink after drying.

Properties :

• Excellent mechanical resistance.
• Very high hardness combined with great flexibility.
• Resists the passage of forklifts.
• Can be covered by most paints.
• Color after drying: cement gray.

Applications:

Very rapid polymerization allowing the floor to be put back into service two hours after the intervention.
Repair on horizontal surfaces of flashes, potholes, crumbling, cracks, spalling on concrete, cement or derivative works.
Fixing to horizontal surfaces of gate stops, stair nosings, small hooks, etc.

Manual :

Preparation of media:

1. The supports must be consistent, resistant, clean and dry.
   If necessary, do some dusting.
2. For a surface soiled by grease, degrease the surface using CK 18 diluted at 1 volume to 5 volumes of water.
3. Brush, leave to act, rinse with pressurized water.
4. Allow to dry before applying the mortar.
   The temperature of the support must be between +1°C and 30°C maximum.

Application of the primary:

1. Apply the Primer with a brush.
2. Leave to dry for 15 to 20 minutes at 18°C, more if the temperature is lower.

Application of mortar:

1. For repairs up to 12 mm thick:
   Carefully mix the hardening binder and the aggregates.
2. For repairs 13 to 30 mm thick:
   Add 2 kg (40% of the mixture) of dry siliceous gravel with a diameter of 4 to 10 mm to the mixture.
3. For repairs greater than 30 mm thick:
   Add to the mixture 4 kg (80% of the mixture) of dry siliceous gravel with a diameter of 6 to 12 mm.
   Apply the mortar within 8 to 10 minutes at room temperature, using a trowel or metal float, taking care to compact it.
