Insulit 55+ is the economical acoustic underlay in the insulit range designed to limit the transmission of impact and shock noise between floors .

It is placed under a floating screed in single layer or double crossed layer for even higher performance.

Insulit 55+ is part of the "eco line" range offering an economical solution but of recognized quality and technology .

Insulit 55+ is a closed microcell physical cross-linked polyolefin foam with a pyramidal structure on one side to achieve low dynamic stiffness. Recent tests have been carried out at the BBRI according to the EN ISO 717-2 standard and attest to its performance.

Facility :

1. Create a cleaning screed. Failing this, provide sand or cement coves at the crossing of the pipes.

2. Unroll the insulit 55+ with an overlap of 5 to 10 cm.

3. The maintenance of the overlaps will be ensured with the attached tape.

4. Go up ±15 cm against the walls before making the screed.

5. Create a screed at least 5 cm thick on the insulit 55+ (minimum 6 cm when laying in double layer).

6. Cut off the excess insulit 55+ after laying the final covering.

Attention :

• For logistical reasons: orders that are too small or too light may be declined. In general, the minimum order is 20m², but we are still listening.
• All orders with problematic or too weak logistics can be picked up directly by the customer.
