InsulPano HF 35 - Thermo-acoustic panels for underfloor heating - Insulco

InsulPano HF 35 is a thermal and acoustic insulation panel specially developed for underfloor heating .

This 3.5 cm panel is placed on the slab and its leveling screed or on a flat support . It is placed under a sand/cement screed with a minimum thickness of 60 mm or a fluid screed with a minimum thickness of 45 mm.

Insulpano HF 35 consists of an acoustic polystyrene panel laminated to a felt with low dynamic stiffness, the whole is covered with a woven and checkered membrane .

The gridded membrane serves as a guide for the implementation of the heating pipes and allows a direct fixing well anchored.

Applications:

  • Hydraulic floor heating
  • Traditional screed or liquid screed

Advantages :

  • 2 in 1 insulation: thermal and acoustic.
  • Very effective against impact noise.
  • Easy and quick to put up.
  • Grid for guidance.
  • Integrated flat cover.
  • Does not crush at the ends.
  • Stable anchorage.
  • Designed for underfloor heating

Soundproofing :

InsulPano HF 35 offers very effective acoustic insulation against impact noise between floors: ΔLw = 35 dB . This level was obtained under a traditional 60 mm screed according to the tests carried out at the BBRI (DE631xB663 AC7719: 2018). insulPano HF 35 achieves the superior acoustic comfort category of standard NBN S 01-400-1.

Thermal insulation :

Insulpano HF 35 has excellent thermal resistance (lambda value (λ) = 0.038 W/m K ). The addition of the different values composing the horizontal structure will make it possible to respond favorably to the thermal requirements required for the PEB and to the necessary characteristics of an underfloor heating system.

Implementation :

Preparation :

The slab must be flat and carefully brushed or make an equalizing screed to cover the pipes and other ducts.

Installation of the panel:

Unfold and place the InsulPano HF 35 panels edge to edge on the floor. Fix the flat overlaps using a waterproof self-adhesive tape on the adjacent panels. Cut the panels with a fiber insulation knife.

Position the heating pipes, fixing them using the ad hoc U-shaped hooks with non-return clamps. Carefully insulate the vertical pipes from the screed they cross using sleeves made on site using Lfoam peripheral tape. Secure the junction between the underlay and the wall using the Lfoam peripheral strip.

Making the screed:

Directly after laying the Lfoam, pour a reinforced screed at least 6 cm thick on the insulPano HF 35. Peel off the excess Lfoam from the wall within 48 hours after laying it. Once the final floor covering has been laid, cut off the excess Lfoam. Install the skirting slightly higher than the final floor covering in order to avoid any lateral acoustic transmission. Then, make a flexible seal under the skirting board.

The screed will be made according to official recommendations (for Belgium, follow NIT 189 and 193).

Features :

  • Material: PP woven membrane, acoustic polystyrene, PET acoustic felt.
