Soudaseal 240FC - Hybrid polymer adhesive sealant - Soudal

Sealant-glue, based on MS polymers, neutral and elastic, for any bonding or rejointing.

Characteristics:

• Good grip on most supports, even slightly wet.
• Very good mechanical properties.
• High elasticity - maximum permissible deformation of ±20%.
• Insensitive to mold, contains ZnP (biocide with fungicidal action).
• Easy to apply and extrude, even at low temperatures.
• No task formation or hydrophobic effect.
• Very low emissions, EC1 PLUS R certified.
• No bubble formation, even in hot and humid weather.
• Excellent resistance to UV rays and all climatic conditions.
• Free of isocyanates, solvents, acids and halogens.
• Can be painted with water-based systems.

Application:

• Bonding applications in the construction sector and in metal constructions.
• Structural bonding in vibrating applications.
• Sanitary applications.
• Rejointing of floor joints.
• Connecting joints between metals, seals in ventilation systems.
• Structural bonding of reinforced or safety glass.
• Semi-flexible bonding in the bodywork and container construction sector.

Conditioning:

• Color: white, black, gray, brown, concrete gray, beige.
• Packaging: 290 ml cartridge, 600 ml pocket.

Instructions for use: 

• Apply with a manual or pneumatic gun.
• Clean with White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before curing).
• Finish: With a soapy solution or Soudal smoothing product, before film-coating.
• Repair: With the same product.
