Soudaseal EPDM - Hybrid polymer adhesive - Soudal

Soudaseal EPDM is a high quality, single component hybrid polymer based adhesive sealant.
Neutral and elastic, it is used for bonding and sealing EPDM membranes for indoor and outdoor applications.
Soudaseal EPDM is part of the Soudal Window System.

Features :

• Excellent adhesion to EPDM membranes
• Good adhesion to most common building materials
• Adhesion without primer even on wet surfaces thanks to unique adhesion promoters
• Easy to work and extrude (even at low temperatures) and finish in all weather conditions

• Free of solvents, halogens, acids and isocyanates

• For indoor and outdoor application.

Applications:

• For bonding EPDM vapor barriers and waterproofing membranes in facade applications.
• For bonding and sealing EPDM membranes to each other as well as to construction works, masonry, concrete, plaster, plaster, cement, aluminium, wood, etc.
• Ideal for airtight connections in window installations.

Manual :

1. Apply Soudaseal EPDM, with a manual or pneumatic gun, to the support with an uninterrupted layer of approximately 5 mm.
2. Apply the EPDM membrane in the wet adhesive and press.
3. An uninterrupted layer of adhesive with a thickness of 1 to 2 mm and a width of approximately 25 mm guarantees the best curing.
4. It is possible to remove Soudaseal EPDM from materials and tools with Soudal 90A glue cleaner, Swipex or White Spirit until the product has hardened.
5. Once cured the product can only be removed mechanically.
