PU700 - PU Glue Brick, Stone, Concrete, Wood - Illbruck
SprayABLE PU Foam Bomb 880 ml.
A single glue now allows you to glue brick, concrete, stone as wood. PU700 glue makes it possible to glue silico-limestone bricks, ceramic blocks and concrete, but also wood and panels INCLUDING FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LOAD-BEARING WALLS.
Scope of application
PU700 stone-wood glue is a very high adhesion glue, intended for stony building materials such as concrete, stone, ceramics, plasterboard as well as wood.
PU700 glue is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is used for heavy stone and wood constructions and for wall and floor panels and wooden frames.
PU700 glue is KOMO certified for load-bearing partitions made of silico-limestone bricks, ceramic blocks, concrete and cellular concrete.
ADVANTAGE
- 30% time saving, ready-to-use glue, usable from -5°C
- No mixing, dust-free use
- Replaces mechanical fastening and mortars
- Extreme adhesive strength, rapid hardening
- KOMO certification for load-bearing partitions and interior and exterior load-bearing walls
- Complies with the requirements of the Construction Decree for Load-bearing Bulkheads (BRL1008)
- Also suitable for ceramic blocks
- Waterproof bonding of non-load-bearing wood construction and wooden fitting
- Fire resistant, smoke and gas tight
- Temperature resistant from -40 to +90°C (+1300C for short duration)
IMPLEMENTATION
Preparation
- Test the suitability of the support beforehand.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- The support must be flat, clean, degreased, dusted and sufficiently load-bearing.
- To accelerate hardening, slightly moisten the support
Implementation
- Apply the PU700 stone-wood glue on one side only, on the horizontal faces and, if necessary, on the vertical faces of the materials to be glued.
- For non-load-bearing partitions, we recommend applying 1 line of glue for 75 mm of brick width.
- For load-bearing partitions, according to the KOMO standard, glue at least 90% of the surface of the bricks / blocks to be glued.
- To apply 2 lines of glue in 1 single gesture, we recommend using the AA254 applicator gun and the AA700 duo glue dispenser.
- Consumption can be determined using the online stone glue consumption calculator on the illbruck website.
- Construction calculations (by a competent person) can be carried out from the data of the KOMO certificate. This certificate can be consulted on request.
- The curing time depends on the temperature, the humidity present in the support and the thickness of the applied glue layer.
Hygiene and safety precautions
During the application, respect the general rules of hygiene in the workplace. For further information, consult the label on the packaging and/or the safety data sheet. The hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
Responsibility
Tremco CPG Belgium declines all responsibility in the event of damage that may arise from the application of its advice, if this advice has not been followed in full, if the materials used have not been used correctly and if this advice has not been validated by the architect and / or engineer responsible for the project in question.
Description
PU700 illbruck stone-wood glue is a fast-curing polyurethane glue for bonding different stony and wooden supports.
Pu700 stone-wood glue is KOMO certified and complies with the requirements of the Construction Decree for load-bearing partitions. The Technical University of Eindhoven has tested this glue in accordance with nen-EN 1052-2. These tests have shown that PU700 glue is suitable for bonding different kinds of silico-limestone bricks, ceramic blocks and cellular concrete. Our technical advisors are at your disposal to help you choose.
The patented system allows the mounting of a foam gun or AA210 spray nozzle on any polyurethane foam aerosol or adhesive foam
Note that
- Suitable for bonding silico-limestone bricks, cellular concrete and ceramic blocks, as well as all wood-based materials.
- Gluing irregular materials such as facing bricks and traditional bricks is not recommended.
- Keep the aerosol in an upright position to avoid clogging the valve.
- After use, tighten the applicator gun adjustment screw thoroughly.
- The glue does not adhere to plastics such as PTFE (Teflon®), PP and PE.
- Do not heat aerosols using an outdoor heat source.
- Expansive power is limited. The surfaces of the materials to be bonded must correspond well with each other.
- PU700 STONE & WOOD ADHESIVE, is intended only for bonding flat materials and is not suitable for filling cavities.
Cleaning
Fresh PU700 stone-wood glue can be removed immediately using the AA290 multi-purpose cleaner or AA292 cleaning wipes. Be careful not to deteriorate the support.
Hardened adhesive foam can only be removed mechanically.
Hardened PU700 stone-wood glue is chemically inert and therefore not harmful.
Aerosol replacement
To replace the aerosol, it must first be completely empty.
When unscrewing the aerosol, keep the valve opening away from oneself. If a little PU700 stone-wood glue flows over the adapter, do not remove it and immediately screw a new aerosol onto the applicator gun.
As soon as the new aerosol is in place, press the trigger of the gun for a few seconds, so that there is no more air in the gun.
Always leave the aerosol mounted on the applicator gun after use, even if it is empty. This prevents the hardening of the product still in the gun.
Cleaning the gun
Clean only if there are symptoms of clogging and slowing of the flow of the product.
Mount the AA290 multi-purpose cleaner on the applicator gun and press the trigger until cleaner comes out of the gun.
Let the gun sit for 15 minutes, so that the AA290 multi-purpose cleaner can take effect.
After approx. 15 minutes, press the trigger again to circulate the AA290 multi-purpose cleaner into the gun, then unscrew the gun cleaner.
Remove the product from the adapter using an AA292 cleaning wipe.
Spray AA291 maintenance spray on the adapter. Immediately afterwards, screw a new aerosol of adhesive foam onto the gun and pass the product through the gun until no more air or cleaner comes out of the gun.
Properly performed cleanings extend the life of the applicator gun.
