FM710 2C - 2C PU foam - Illbruck

FM710 2C FIX FOAM is a two-component foam aerosol for mounting door and window frames, fixing cavity wall slats, caulking threshold fittings, window sills and flashings, filling large accessible cavities, caulking joints.

Advantage: 

• Low post-expansion.
• Fast and uniform hardening.
• Excellent adhesion on many substrates, can be painted and covered with plaster, UV sensitive.
• Resistant to heat, water and many chemicals.
• Excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

Implementation:

• Remove the protective cap and retrieve the activation pusher.
• Screw the extrusion tube onto the valve then position the pusher in the opening under the aerosol and place the assembly vertically on a solid flat surface.
• Hold the aerosol with 2 hands and press the pusher all the way.
• Shake the aerosol at least 30 times immediately and vigorously before use.
• Then imperatively orient it upside down and pull the trigger to bring out the foam.
• The foam should have a uniform color (green), as long as the product remains beige, shake again.
• The amount of extruded foam is dosed by more or less pulling the trigger on the valve.
• Partially fill the cavities to 50% because the foam expands 2 to 3 times during setting.
• Careful! Activate the aerosol only with the activation pusher.
• Do not activate the aerosol if its temperature is above + 25°C.
• All the contents of the aerosol must be used within 3 minutes after activation.

Health and safety precautions: 

• Work only in well-ventilated premises.
• Do not smoke.
• Wear protective clothing.
• Protect eyes and wear protective gloves.
• Largely protect the working area with paper or plastic sheet.

Cleaning: 

• The still fresh foam is removed immediately with the cleaner.
• For hardened foam, only the use of mechanical means allows cleaning.

Conditioning: 

• Aerosol of 400 ml.
• Color: Green.
