Copper Spirit - Verdigris activator - Owatrol

Natural Verdigris activator to create decorative effects on raw copper support and any other support coated with the special Reactiv leaf copper rust coating .

Properties :

• Yield: approximately 10 to 15 m2/L depending on the desired decorative effect and final color

Application :

• Shake well before use.
• Ready to use, do not dilute. Take care to protect substrates not intended to be decorated and sensitive to acids.

On raw copper support:

1. Apply the Copper spirit on healthy, dry and clean supports.
   This application can be carried out using the sprayer or a tool (cloth, brush, sponge, etc.) to obtain additional decorative effects.
2. The formation of Verdigris must begin quickly.
   Otherwise, sand the support to return to the raw metal.

On substrates coated with a first layer of Reactiv leaf copper:

1. Apply a second coat of Reactiv leaf copper and spray 5 minutes after the Copper spirit (spraying when the applied paint is still wet).
   This application of Copper spirit must be carried out using the sprayer only.
2. Repeat the application of Copper spirit regularly (15/30 min intervals) until the desired effect and color are obtained.
   If the Verdigris effect were to be too pronounced, do not hesitate to apply touches of Reactiv leaf copper.
3. Once the decorative effect has been achieved, you can stop the development of Verdigris by applying the special Spirit sealer neutralizer.
4. To obtain optimal protection for your decor, we recommend the application of Natural varnish matt varnish or Rustol owatrol (satin/gloss appearance).
