Sika Primer MR Fast is a two-component epoxy primer for underneath SikaBond parquet adhesives , with very low emissions, and which controls the humidity of the support.

Application areas

Sika Primer MR Fast is designed to be used in combination with SikaBond parquet adhesives:

• As a moisture barrier on cementitious substrates with a maximum moisture content of 4% CM.
• As a consolidation of concrete substrates, cementitious and anhydrite screeds and renovated substrates.
• To improve adhesion on sprinkled mastic asphalt and on old adhesive residues.

Application

1. Open the cardboard box and the two cans it contains.
2. Insert the component B bottle vertically into the component A container.
3. Wait until the component B bottle is empty and close the component A container lid.
4. Shake the container well after mixing component A and component B in the correct ratio.
5. The container should be shaken for at least 1 minute.
6. It is imperative to mix again if the product still does not seem homogeneous.

Consumption

Concrete and/or cementitious and anhydrite screeds, including liquid anhydrite screeds: 150–250 g/m2, depending on the absorption of the support.

Broadcast mastic asphalt: 100–200 g/m2.
