 Aquaswell product is a high-quality elastic single-component sealant based on polyurethane. Swells on contact with water. Designed for water and gas tightness around cables or pipes and for sealing connections of concrete and prefabricated elements. Able to glue bentonite swelling strips on substrates

Characteristics:

• Waterproof and gas tight up to 5 bar (DVGW VP-601).
• Excellent adhesion to many materials in both indoor and outdoor applications.
• Permanent elasticity after polymerization.
• Easy application on horizontal and vertical surfaces.
• Inflates up to 450% of its initial volume in constant contact with water. After 24 hours, inflates up to 200% of its original volume and after 72 hours up to 300%.
• Returns to its original shape when there is no more contact with water.
• Solvent-free.

Applications:

• Water and gas tightness of most pipes in water, gas and cable pipes.
• Watertightness of connections of concrete or prefabricated elements in the construction sector.
• Impermeability of joints in the construction sector.
• Adhesion of bentonite sealing membranes on surfaces.
