Sika Separol-540 Végétale is a vegetable delayed mold release agent for concrete and mortars with a high quality of facing , ready to use.

Features

• Can be applied to most formwork and molds to obtain excellent finish facings.
• Prevents adhesion of concrete or laitance to treated surfaces.
• Does not leave oily traces on the concrete after stripping or demoulding.
• Allows the subsequent application of coatings or paints (the reception of the support is the responsibility of the applicator).
• Easy spraying over a wide temperature range.

Application areas

Sika Separol-540 Végétale is used as a delayed release agent on construction sites and in prefabrication:

• for conventional vibrated concrete or special non-vibrated concrete (self-compacting or self-leveling concrete).
• up to formwork temperatures not exceeding 70°C.
• on metal or wooden supports.

Sika Separol-540 Végétale is not compatible with plastic materials.

Application

1. Sika Separol-540 Végétale is used pure (do not dilute).
2. Substrate temperature: between -5°C and +70°C Apply a thin film of product evenly, avoiding gaps and excess thickness.
3. Sika Separol-540 Végétale must be applied at the earliest 24 hours before pouring, especially when the temperature of the air or the support is high.
4. For applications on molds of small dimensions and/or complex shapes, we recommend rubbing the surface of the mold with a cloth after application.

Consumption

1 liter can treat 40 to 60 m² depending on substrate and application conditions.

Conditioning

• 20 liter container.
