Sika SealTape-B is a self-adhesive sealing tape for waterproofing system.
Self-adhesive system component that is part of a sealing system, for the flexible and tight bridging of areas at risk of cracking.

Application

1. The support must be solid, healthy and able to support the loads.
2. It should be free of oil, grease, dust and other contamination that may prevent adhesion.
3. Depending on the waterproofing system, it may be necessary to use a primer.
4. Remove the protective sheet from the Sika SealTape B and stick the tape to the dust-free support, applying pressure but without applying tension.
5. Immediately afterwards, sealant, for example Sikalastic 220W, can be applied up to a distance of 10 mm from the middle of the strip.
6. The adhesive tape must be incorporated into the sealing layer with the correct layer thickness.
7. At joints and connection points, the tape must overlap by at least 4 cm.
8. If Sika SealTape B is stuck on the sealing layer, it must be covered with the sealant in case of exposure to a lot of water during use.
