Primer AP 40 - Akemi

Akemi Primer AP 40 is a single-component primer for silicones to improve adhesion .
No flash-off time is required on smooth, non-absorbent surfaces.

Application domain :

• Akemi Primer AP 40 is used to prime the sides of joints before applying Akemi silicones on metal surfaces such as zinc, eloxal and stainless steel as well as various plastics such as PVC and sanitary acrylic sealants.
• Used indoors and outdoors for walls, floors and ceiling joints to improve the adhesion of silicone sealants.

Use :

1. Contact surfaces must be dry, clean and free of grease and dust.
2. Apply with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth on smooth, non-absorbent surfaces, with a brush on absorbent and textured surfaces.
3. Protect treated surfaces from moisture and dust.
4. On smooth, non-absorbent surfaces the sealant can be applied without flash off time, on textured or absorbent surfaces a flash off time of approximately 15 minutes should be observed.
   Do not exceed an evaporation time of 2 hours.
