Silirub S - Sanitary acetic silicone sealant - Soudal

Silirub S is a high quality elastic acetic one-component sealant based on silicones. For Brilliant White and Transparent colours, see Silirub AS.

Features:

• Very malleable
• UV resistant
• Insensitive to mold
• Permanent elasticity after polymerization
• Strong adhesion to virtually all substrates.
• Typical vinegar smell

Applications:

• Glazing and connection joints.
• Joints in sanitary rooms and kitchens.
• Seals in cold rooms and in container construction.
• Seals in ventilation systems.

Types : all common construction surfaces, No PVC

Condition : dimensionally stable, clean, dry, dusted and degreased.

Pre-treatment : Apply Primer 150 on porous substrates. Prepare non-porous surfaces with a Soudal activator or cleaner (see technical data sheet). There is no adhesion on PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and bituminous surfaces.

It is advisable to carry out a preliminary adhesion and compatibility test on any support.
