Silirub AQ is a high-quality, silicone-based elastic monocompensing putty. Silirub AQ is suitable for gluing aquariums and terrariums.
Characteristics
- Very malleable
- Very low emissions, EC1 PLUS R certified
- Permanent elasticity after polymerization
- Very good grip to the glass and aluminum
- Perfectly neutral after hardening
- UV-resistant
- After complete hardening and completion of the chemical reaction process
- This product contains no toxins for fish or other organisms (for example fungicide).
- Seawater and seaweed resistant
- Resists acids, laundry and many chemicals
Applications
- Manufacturing of aquariums and terrariums entirely made of glass
- Collage of glass constructions.
Media
Types: Glass
Condition: undeformable, clean, dry, dusted and greased.
Pretreatment: No prior treatment required. It is advisable to do a preliminary adhesion test on any medium.
