SikaSwell S-2 - Sealing foam sealant - Sika

SikaSwell S-2 is a one-component sealant based on polyurethane , swelling on contact with water, which seals in this way all types of construction joints and crossings of concrete walls.

Application

1. Substrate must be structurally sound, clean, dry (or damp but dark matte in color with no water in pores), and free of any contamination that may adversely affect adhesion.
2. Loose parts, release agents, laitance, old coatings, rust and other friable parts must be removed by manual or mechanical techniques.
3. Excessively rough surfaces may be susceptible to leaks.
   It is recommended to smooth the freshly poured concrete with a batten where the putty is to be placed.
4. Clean tools and equipment with Sika Colma Cleaner immediately after use. Cured product can only be removed mechanically.

Consumption

The consumption depends on the roughness and the absorption capacity of the support.
These figures are theoretical and do not take into account overconsumption due to surface porosity and roughness, level variations, waste, etc.
