Ceramikapro additive S2 - Synthetic resin additive - Knauf

Ceramikapro additive S2 is a synthetic resin -based additive for improving Ceramikapro fast C2FTE-S1 and Ceramikapro ultraflex C2TE-S1 adhesive mortars .

Application domain :

Used as an additive in Ceramikapro fast C2FTES1 and Ceramikapro ultraflex C2TE-S1 adhesive mortars, the product enables:

  • to increase the flexibility of the aforementioned adhesive mortars to achieve class S2 according to the EN standard
  • to improve their quality of adhesion and their resistance to shearing

Once mixed with Ceramikapro Additive S2, the aforementioned adhesive mortars can be used for:

  • the laying of very large format tiles subject to significant stresses
  • the bonding of thin tiles in very large XL and XXL format
  • laying tiles on cement screeds that are still fresh (at least 5 days old)
  • bonding tiles with a smooth, low-absorbency back surface
  • the laying of tiles subject to significant thermal stresses

Remarks :

  • Do not let the product flow into the drains
  • The temperature of the environment and of the surface, during the application, cannot be lower than +5°C and cannot exceed +30°C.
  • When laying the tiles, plan for junction, division and expansion joints.
    All existing expansion or movement joints in the support will be reflected in the tiling by making a suitable mastic joint.
  • Clean tools with water immediately after use.
