Fiber trellis - Fiberglass reinforcement for screeds - Knauf

Knauf Fiber is an alkali -resistant and highly tensile -resistant fiberglass reinforcement .
It is delivered in the form of a 1m wide roll .

Application domain :

This mesh is mainly used in traditional cement-based screeds.

More or less important internal tensions are generated in the screed during the drying period.
These reactions are often the cause of cracking, which can be problematic for tiled or resin-based finishes.

Due to its excellent mechanical resistance, the Knauf Fiber mesh significantly reduces the risk of cracking of the screeds.

• Easy to cut with a cutter or scissors
• Easy to store on site, because space-saving
• Don't rust

Remarks :

1. The use of Knauf Fiber reinforcing mesh limits the risk of cracks forming in the screed.
2. However, these cannot be completely excluded because they depend on the stability of the support and the movements it may cause.
3. Expansion and/or movement joints must always be taken up at the level of the screed system.
4. Under no circumstances may these joints be covered by the screed or by the fiberglass reinforcement.
