SikaCeram Sealing Fix is a 2-component waterproof adhesive used to bond the SikaCeram Sealing Membrane W.

Areas of use

Glue SikaCeram Sealing Membrane W and seal the overlaps of the SikaCeram Sealing Membrane W membranes on supports in damp rooms.

Application

1. Pour component B (powder) into component A (dispersion).
2. Mix thoroughly using an electric mixer until the material is fully blended and lump-free (~3 minutes).
3. Avoid getting air into the mixture by overmixing.
4. Do not add water.
5. If partial amounts are required, mix with a weight ratio of 1.6 component A: 1.0 component B in a separate mixing vessel.
6. Apply SikaCeram Sealing Fix using a roller or a 3/4 mm notched trowel.
7. Sealing details made with Sika SealTape F and accessories can be coated with SikaCeram Sealing Fix before or after the membrane.
8. If the application is interrupted, the roller can be placed in an airtight plastic film/bag for a maximum of 30 minutes.
9. If material begins to dry on the roller, the roller should be replaced.

Consumption

~0.46 kg/m² of dispersion + 0.29 kg/m² of powder
The consumption depends on the roughness and the degree of absorption of the support.
These values are theoretical and do not take into account higher consumption due to surface porosity and profile, level differences and product losses, etc.
